ABOUT ME
When I was a little girl, I would spend my afternoons at a local bridal shop. For hours on end, I would sit there and watch brides choose their dresses. I’m surprised nobody ever complained about my visits. I told my mom that, one day, I would become a wedding planner. Back then this profession didn’t even exist in our country. So, it was no surprise that my parents didn’t take my “little girl’s fantasy” seriously. And while weddings were my childhood dream, I’m living this dream now as a professional wedding planner.
I grew up in a beautiful part of Southern Germany in a town called Esslingen am Neckar. After finishing school, I worked as an apprentice in the hotel industry. We had many weddings at the hotel where I worked, and my “little girl’s fantasy” was rekindled. I always excelled at planning and organizing events. When it comes to weddings, it was clearly love at first sight.
After earning my degree, I moved to Tirol. My actual plan was to go to the USA, but I got stuck in Tirol. As we say here, I “came for the job but stayed for love”. That was 15 years ago!
In 2008 I finally had the courage to start my own wedding agency, Dreamotions Weddings & Events. Since then, many things have changed in the wedding industry, and wedding planners have become an established profession in Austria. There hasn't been a moment when I regretted starting my own business. For me, being a wedding planner is the most rewarding job in the world. It’s what I do best.
When I’m not busy planning weddings, I like to travel around the world with my family. We take short trips to Italy, relax in Scandinavia or go on a cruise in the Mediterranean. The world is full of places to explore. The United States is still one of my favorite places. Not just because of peanut butter and M&Ms! New York City is next on my list. We’ll see when this dream shall come true.

I once read that a good wedding planner is only as good as the vendors she chooses.
There’s clearly some truth in that. This is why I choose my partners very carefully.
In the last ten years, I have cooperated with many different vendors and have created longstanding partnerships. This helps me find the right partners for you as I can rely on an extensive network. I also work with new vendors. After all, new amazing ideas and people keep emerging on the market. And couples’ needs always change. Personally, I believe that the partners I choose need to blend well with the couple. In fact, this is one of my main selection criteria. It allows me to guarantee that you and your vendors will be a good match.
If you have already chosen your vendors, I’ll be happy to work with them. This might create an opportunity for another partnership.
